TEXAS WEATHER RADAR LINKS
SEVERE WEATHER INFORMATION
Posted 7:35 a.m. Thursday, May 15, 2008

Severe thunderstorms are possible across portions of South, South Central and Southeast Texas through Thursday as a cod front tracks across the southern half of the state.

Latest Severe weather watch information can be viewed on the link provided below...

http://www.spc.noaa.gov/products/watch/

A cold front will continue pushing through Texas with a chance of showers and thunderstorms along the Gulf Coast and westward across Deep South Texas and the Coastal Plains southward into the Rio Grande Valley.

Thunderstorms will be capable of producing hail and high winds during the day along the frontal boundary.

A few thunderstorms are also possible along the western edge of the frontal boundary in Far West Texas and across portions of the Big Bend, Trans Pecos Region and Borderlands.

A few storms could approach severe levels, but a widespread outbreak is not anticipated Thursday over West Texas.

On Friday, scattered thunderstorms are possible along the border of southern Texas in the Rio Grande Valley near the remnants of the cold front, but most of the heavy to severe thunderstorm activity will remain south of the border during the day.

A few thunderstorms may also develop over the Big Bend and Borderlands region of Far West Texas late Friday afternoon.
